We had a wonderful first week of school. The students are doing a good job learning the routines. Next week they will practice some more routines for our literacy block- Daily 5. They will also get on the laptops for the first time. We have the laptops on Wednesday afternoons. They will learn how to log in with their user name, password, and get onto the class blog. Please make sure your child has their headphones/ ear buds by Wednesday the 29th.
I look forward to seeing all of you on Tuesday August 28th for Curriculum Night. Please come to the classroom (room 22) at 6:30pm.
Here are some fun pictures of the students reading to their stuffed animal for "Read to Self" (one of the Daily 5 choices that they are learning about). They really enjoy reading to the stuffed animals.
