They had a wonderful Winter Party! Thank you to Logan’s mom for organizing a great party. Thank you to all of our parent volunteers! We appreciate you!

They really enjoyed library time on Tuesday. They used their username and password to login on the laptop. They explored Santa Tracker and had a blast.

Thinking of ideas, collaborating, creating and sharing!

I want to give a “shout out” to Mr. Scott! Thank you to Mr Scott, Brennan’s dad, for organizing the Helping Hands Campaign for our classroom! We collected 236 items and enjoyed helping families in need at Concord. Thank you to all of the people who donated items! We all appreciate your help!

Reminders:

Six Flags Reading Log- the log came home this week. It’s not due until February. You can put their reading minutes for the “light bulb” page on the Six Flags log too!

Cool Math- the kiddos are really enjoying the math games on this website. There is an app as well. This may be a fun thing for your kiddo to try over break.

School Resumes Jan. 3rd

Here are our plans for January:

Reading- continue to practice good reading habits.

Word Study- long vowel patterns.

Writing- the kiddos will get to choose to write non fiction or a personal narrative ( small moment) writing piece. This will be a good way to ease back into the routine after the break.

Math- subtraction strategies.

Social Studies- Geography

Parent Teacher Conferences: January 29 and 31st. Dr. Moehlmann will send a link to the sign up genius in her parent email. I look forward to talking with you about you child’s progress!

No School Feb. 1st

Thank you for a wonderful first semester! I hope everyone has a wonderful break and I look forward to seeing the kiddos in January!

Happy Holidays!
