We revisited a great story from the 7 Habits book last week! "Sammy squirrel" was feeling bored and wanted his family and friends to think of something fun for him to do! Sammy soon learned a very important lesson- he is the one in charge of his fun. We discussed habit number 1: Be Proactive- You are in charge! I remind the students daily to take charge of their learning. Ask your child about the story and how they take charge of their learning at school.
