Vince is in the Spotlight this week. We really enjoyed his show- n- tell on Tuesday!

Thank you to all of the helpers on our field trip! We had a great time at Missouri Botanical Gardens even though it was so cold!!! 

The past two days we have been using a writing buddy as a "tool" for our review writing! The students are doing such a good job writing their opinion and giving three or more reasons why and giving a rating!

Look at the fun they had during their library time! They worked in pairs and tested to see how far their cars would go down the ramp. 

Reminders

We have our field trip on Monday! Please be sure to have your child wear their Class Shirt on Monday! Hopefully, you can use the weekend to search for the shirt and have it ready to go on Monday!

Don't forget to have your child bring a peanut free sack lunch with a drink. It is best if their lunch is in a disposable bag. This way they can have their hands free as they walk around the gardens. 

Also, please have your child wear tennis shoes and dress in layers. They might be chilly when we first get there, but may get warm after walking around a bit.

We will be starting our Economics unit later next week. Please read the letter regarding a fun activity scheduled for May 11th. We have not talked about it yet as a class, but we wanted to give parents plenty of notice for scheduling purposes.

Thank you to Erin for coming to read to our class. Graeme was so surprised to have you read to us! The kiddos really liked the book!

 Thank you to Henry's mom for coming in this week to be a Mystery Reader! The kiddos really enjoyed the second book you read to them!
