End of Year gift from Mrs. Boyd

Since we have been reading the Stink series all year, it is only fitting that I get them each their own copy of STINK! 



They absolutely loved their End of Year gift!!! As they walked in from recess they all cheered with excitement to have their own book! It was such a precious moment! I am so excited that they all have developed a true love of reading.




Thank you so much for letting me teach your precious children! I had an absolute BLAST this year! They are such a sweet class and I will have such great memories of each and every one of them!!

Charlie's mom was a Mystery Reader yesterday. Thank you for coming in to read to us. They loved the book. 

Thank you to all of the Mystery Readers for reading to us this school year! 

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered throughout the year as well! Most importantly, thank you for everything you have done for your child and for the partnership we have created this year! I appreciate your help and support so much!

Fun Day Info- Please send your child in tennis shoes and a hat. Your child can bring a water bottle too. If it rains, Fun Day will be on Monday the 22nd.

A summer packet and book list will come home tomorrow. Please put this is a safe place so your child can work in the packet over the summer and you can refer to the book list for summer reading. 

Hello Families,

Since we have two weeks left of school you will start to see the 'wrap up' process begin next week. The students will start to bring items home on Monday. They will bring a little bit home each day.


Reminders:

• No more spelling tests
• Reading Envelopes will no longer come home
• Fun Day 5/19- bring water bottle, wear tennis shoes, apply sunscreen before school and dress for the weather. Our Fun day rotations will be from 12:30pm- 2:45pm. 
• 5/23 Read -a -Thon- Details TBA
• 5/25 End of Year Party
• 5/26 Last Day of School

Elijah was in the spotlight last week and a few days this week! We loved his show and tell! 

Sarah is in the spotlight this week! She would like everyone to wear turquoise or pink today ( sorry for the late notice). We enjoyed writing about her for her spotlight book!
