Mystery Reader, Donuts with Dads

Thank you to Ryan's dad for being a Mystery Reader! They really enjoyed Dragons Love Tacos.

The students used their rubrics to "fancy up" their writing. They have been working so hard on their realistic fiction series!

Author Visit

Local author Kelly Sullentrop came to Concord to read her picture book titled Absolute Mayhem. She read the story, discussed the story elements, explained the illustrations and the process of writing the book. The students also had the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of her book.

Jackson and Hana are in the spotlight this week. 

Jackson would like everyone to wear red tomorrow. 

Hana would like everyone to wear blue on Thursday. 

We hope to see everyone Friday Night at Literacy Night!

Welcome Back! It sounds like everyone had a wonderful break! Here are some important reminders for this week: 

• We are having an author visit this Friday! If you would like to purchase a book please fill out the form ( it's in your child's folder) and return it tomorrow or Wednesday.
