Writing with a teaching voice
We started a new unit in writing- informational writing! The students will use this as a guide to start writing a book that teaches about a topic! They will use a teaching voice to write, not a storyteller voice.
They worked so hard on these! I can't wait to share this with you at conferences! The post -it notes are compliments written by classmates! They love to share with their peers and compliment each other.
Speaking of conferences, I sent a note home last week with your scheduled time highlighted on the schedule. Please look for another reminder in your child's folder today! Thank you!
