Tuesday
After each student took a turn throwing at the target for the Dunk Tank they got a sno cone. I love this picture. They all sat together in a circle enjoying their sno cones and talking! I love how they all bonded as a class this year. I am just so proud of all their growth- academically and socially!

Next Week
Parents,
On Monday your child will bring home three summer resource packets. Two of the packets are resources for reading and book titles for leveled books. You can use the information in the report card for your child's reading level to help when picking out just right books. Reading is the number one thing you should have your child do over the summer break. The other packet is blue and it is a work book.
There are several journals that your child will bring home. Not all of the journals are completed. Do not feel concerned if you see blank or incomplete pages. Please feel free to have your child work in those journals as well over the summer.

Pictures
We enjoyed giving Ms. Richardson the book we made for her last Thursday. She loved the collection of books. We had four tubs of books to give her !! Thank you so much for donating a book.
We planted with our fourth grade buddies today. Our school garden is coming along wonderfully!

Authors' Cafe'
Mrs.
Boyd’s class would like to invite you to our “Authors’ Cafe’ ”. Please join us
on Friday, May 16 from 2:30-3:00 pm in room 22. You will have
the opportunity to listen to your child read the books they have written and
snack on some yummy treats.
